new energy supplier

Sylvester Hvid & Co Ltd was behind the development and introduction strategy for Denmark's new electric company Switch.dk. Our agency did contribute business sparring, analysis, strategy, identity and the creative process.

The challenge was to create an identity, a strategy and a communications platform that helped Switch.dk in taking the position as the real alternative to the established electric companies on the market. In its tone and style, the campaign should differentiate Switch.dk from its competitors without loosing credibility that is extremely important for an utility company.

The national campaign was carried out using several channels such as daily national newspapers and internet, supplemented with local advertising, direct marketing and permission marketing. Additionally, Sylvester Hvid & Co Ltd ran a comprehensive PR project.

Shortly after, Switch.dk was able to create a movement in an area with low mobility among consumers. In under 12 months, Switch.dk attained a market share of 5 per cent in a market where only 1 per cent change provider annually.
